Immunotherapy

An allergic response is when your body responds defensively to harmless substances. Immunotherapy is a treatment in which the allergens are introduced in a diluted fashion and titrated up until your immune system is trained to tolerate them.
This can be achieved with allergy shots administered in your doctor’s office. Alternatively, we are able to prescribe a liquid solution that is absorbed under the tongue daily.

Your initial prescription will include solutions of 3 different concentrations and directions on how to titrate. After 3 months you will have achieved your maintenance dose and should begin to feel relief within the following weeks. It is recommended to continue immunotherapy for 2 to 5 years and its effects can endure for years thereafter.
