Autologous blood serum

AUTOLOGOUS BLOOD SERUM is made from the clear serum of your own blood. It is the closest thing to your natural tears, as it is filled with natural defence proteins and growth hormones that help heal the ocular surface. Conversely, artificial tears are basically water and offer only momentary moisture. Autologous blood serum is chemical and preservative free and should not cause any side effects whatsoever. ABS drops are typically very soothing at insertion and should be used as a substitute for ALL OTC tears, as frequently as necessary.

These drops are not billable to insurance, but the out of pocket cost is very reasonable.
